Day 1Johannesburg
Arrive and transfer to the guest house. Enjoy a traditional South African braai (barbecue) welcome dinner.

Day 2Johannesburg/Kruger National Park
Enjoy a scenic drive along the famed Panorama Route with stops at Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and God’s Window. Continue to our tented camp located just outside Kruger National Park.

Day 3Kruger National Park
Opt to take a morning game drive or bush walk, or relax on the deck with views of the watering hole, a popular spot for game to visit. This afternoon, take an included game drive inside Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle. Take in views of the abundant wildlife from your seat. Return to the camp and enjoy a delicious South African dinner on the deck or in the boma.

Day 4Kruger National Park/Karongwe Private Game Reserve
Continue on to a private nature reserve in the Greater Kruger area to enjoy open vehicle game drives while searching for Africa’s famed Big Five.

Day 5Karongwe Private Game Reserve
Take part in an early morning game drive and then enjoy brunch and free time at the lodge. In the afternoon, meet with a researcher from the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s Carnivore Conservation Programme, a project headed by National Geographic grantee Kelly Marnewick. A member of Kelly’s team will teach us about their ongoing research and join us on our evening game drive.

Day 6Karongwe Private Game Reserve/Johannesburg
After one last safari game drive, head back to the city. In the evening, enjoy dinner at our local guest house.

Fly to Zimbabwe and enjoy a guided tour along the trails of the famous falls. Gain insight into what life’s like in Africa with a walk through a local market and dinner at a family homestead. Meet the family, learn their history, and share stories as you help prepare a traditional Zimbabwean dinner.

Victoria Falls Helicopter Ride (Zimbabwe) – $162.00
You don’t want to miss the opportunity to see Victoria Falls from above. Watch the Zambezi River make its way toward the gorge, forming the largest waterfall in the world. During your 15 minute ride, you will have time to take in the incredible views while snapping as many pictures as you like. You may be lucky enough to see some giraffes and elephants in the surrounding landscape and even catch a rainbow over the falls. Please note there is a cost for an additional park fee paid for on-site at time of the activity.
Victoria Falls River Rafting (Zimbabwe) – $160.00
Take the opportunity to go whitewater rafting on the Zambezi River while Victoria Falls roars above. Depart in the morning and head to the river, spend the morning navigating through the canyon that forms the famous falls. After, enjoy a riverside lunch. This adrenaline filled day will be one to remember.This adrenaline filled day will be one to remember. Please note: River conditions and activity pricing vary depending on the seasons. High water season is from about February to July. Low water season generally runs from August to January each year – this is when the Zambezi is at its very wildest.
